The club ran its traditional doughnut dash race ye The club ran its traditional doughnut dash race yesterday after a few false starts for bad weather this year. It’s one of the clubs oldest races which I believe was always held on Boxing Day. A 50 meter dash to the groyne with the doughnut statue on it. The most important thing to keep with tradition is NO NEOPRENE which in 7c temps is nasty !!!! Especially running over the stones. Not much competition In the ladies race this year but plenty of guys taking up the challenge. Well done to Jo and Adam for winning the converted trophies which date back over 100 years.
